Student answer (Band 6.0)
Garbage has become a widespread issue in most part of the world since individuals do not recycle their waste properly. While this mainly occurs due to improper ways of treating garbage waste, this issue may alleviate with the help of government as well as public support.
One main reason is is unorganized methods of collecting and disposing waste. This is largely because disposable collection departments lack in collecting waste promptly, as they do not visit on fixed schedule. Consequently, people may not available at home to provide their waste and that waste end-ups sitting in home. For example, in Canada, waste collectors come on Thursdays to collect, allowing residents to remove all the garbage or recycleble material and throw into giant dustbins a day before, so the workers can collect it easily. This method does not require people to stay at home waiting for throwing those.
The prime alternation can be done by governmnets because they should create departments, like in developed countries. They would require to manage budget to allocate substantial funds to intoduce a department. Additionally, public should also take responsibility to distribute recycleble items and garbage into seperate containers before throwing. Moreover, individuals should be rewarded if they successfully seperate and recycle more waste instead of mixing and throwing everything together. Therefore, both public and governments would have to work hand-in-hand to solve such issue.
In conclusion, even though few countries do not have proper disposable system, which is limiting opportunities for recycling, both states and residents have to come together to overcome this problem.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both parts of the question: you identify unreliable waste collection as a reason for low recycling and propose government services, sorting containers, and rewards as solutions. The Canada example helps illustrate how a predictable collection schedule could make recycling easier. However, the explanation of why people recycle less is narrower than the task allows: the focus is almost entirely on collection schedules, and the claim that residents may be unavailable is not fully explained. The proposed government department and funding are also mentioned without showing clearly how they would improve recycling. Develop these points with specific cause-and-effect reasoning and explain how incentives could change behaviour.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, a paragraph on causes, a paragraph on solutions, and a conclusion. Ideas generally progress logically, and linking expressions such as “Consequently,” “Additionally,” and “Therefore” help show relationships. This already gives the essay a coherent flow. Some connections, however, are mechanical or unclear: the Canada example does not fully support the preceding claim about people being unavailable, and “The prime alternation” makes the shift to solutions difficult to follow. The conclusion repeats the main position rather than drawing the points together. Make each example explicitly support its topic sentence and use clearer transitions between the problem and proposed response.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “collecting and disposing waste,” “substantial funds,” “recycle,” and “separate containers,” and you attempt more formal phrasing. However, inaccurate word choice, collocation, and spelling are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning less clear. Examples include “prime alternation” for a main solution, “disposable collection departments,” and “waste end-ups sitting in home.” There are also repeated spelling errors such as “governmnets,” “intoduce,” and “recycleble.” Build a reliable set of natural phrases for waste management, such as “waste collection services,” “recycling facilities,” and “sort waste,” and check spelling carefully. This will make your ideas more precise and easier to understand.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including a conditional structure in “if they successfully separate and recycle more waste” and a concession in the conclusion. The main ideas are usually understandable, but some grammatical errors affect clarity. For example, “individuals may not available” is missing a verb, while “they would require to manage budget” has an incomplete verb pattern and missing articles. The opening also contains the repeated “is is,” and “people do not visit on fixed schedule” needs more accurate article use. Practise checking subject–verb patterns, articles, and complete verb phrases, then proofread each sentence. More accurate control of these structures would make your complex sentences clearer.
