Dear Sir,

I hope you find this letter in good spirits.

I am indeed sorry to inform you that I will have to postpone the course (Computer basic skills CS3367) for this term as my uncle comes across a serious health situation and as I live with him it is my responsibility to look after him.

Your are definitely going to wonder how will I catch up the course but I want to tell you that i have already Because I am probably going to move to the hospital with my uncle. Therefore, it will not possible for me to travel as the hospital is located out of the city.

Please consider my request in urgency to let me know and how can procced ahead to follow-up register for the next team. Moreover, I will be Grateful if you suggest any better plan which is available for me.

I look forward to talk to you soon.

Best regards,

Kishan

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have addressed all three bullet points required by the task. You explained the situation regarding your uncle's health, stated your desire to postpone the course to the next term, and asked for advice on the procedure. However, the development of these points is slightly hindered by unclear phrasing. For instance, the sentence 'I want to tell you that i have already Because I am probably going to move' is incomplete and confusing, which makes the explanation of your situation less effective. While the purpose of the letter is clear, the lack of clarity in some sections prevents a higher score.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is organised into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure of your request. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Therefore' and 'Moreover' to link ideas. However, the flow is occasionally interrupted by grammatical errors and awkward phrasing, such as the transition between the second and third paragraphs. The referencing is sometimes unclear, particularly in the second paragraph where the sentence structure breaks down. To improve, ensure that each sentence connects logically to the previous one and avoid fragmented thoughts.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You have a sufficient range of vocabulary to convey your message, using terms like 'postpone', 'responsibility', and 'urgency'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'comes across a serious health situation' (should be 'has developed a serious health condition') and 'procced ahead to follow-up register' (which is redundant and grammatically incorrect). You also have some spelling errors, such as 'procced' and 'team' instead of 'term'. These errors do not prevent communication, but they do limit the precision of your writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation that occasionally impede readability. Examples include 'Your are definitely going to wonder' (should be 'You are'), 'how will I catch up the course' (should be 'how I will catch up on the course'), and 'it will not possible' (missing 'be'). The sentence 'I want to tell you that i have already Because I am probably going to move' is a major grammatical breakdown. Improving your control over basic sentence construction and subject-verb agreement will significantly raise your score.
