Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to explain my situation regarding the course I am currently enrolled in. Unfortunately, due to some professional commitments, I am unable to continue this course further.

Recently, I have been given additional responsibilities by my employer that require a considerable attention and time. As a result, I find it difficult to concentrate on my studies effectively and therefore would like to leave for temporary period.

Given these circumstances, I would like to request to defer the course until the next term. This would help me to complete my course smoothly without having to register for the course again that could waste my significant time.

I would greatly appreciate if you could provide me some information regarding the procedure that I will need to follow for defer the course as well as any documents and fees associated with this process.
