Dear Sir/Madam
I am writing this to request about post pone my evening course which i did enroll last week.
Currently I am in my third semester of masters degree; in which i already have to work so hard to finish my assignments and study. Results of that adding extra study will give me lot of stress which i do not prefer.
Moreover, I have to put my best foot forward for this important term for this degree so I have decided to pursue this evening course in last semester.
I will really appreciate if you can advice me how to transfer this credits for following semester. If is there any other possibility you have in your mind then please share with me .

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
You have addressed all three bullet points required by the prompt: explaining your situation, stating your desire to postpone, and asking for advice. The tone is appropriate for a formal letter. However, the development of your ideas is somewhat limited. For example, while you mention being busy with your master's degree, providing a slightly more specific reason for the scheduling conflict would have strengthened the response. The purpose of the letter is clear from the beginning, and you maintain a consistent focus throughout the text, which satisfies the requirements for a Band 6.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter is logically organized into paragraphs, with a clear introduction, body, and conclusion. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'Moreover' and 'If', which help the flow of ideas. However, the transition between the explanation of your studies and the request for a transfer is a bit abrupt. Additionally, some referencing is slightly unclear, such as 'Results of that adding extra study'. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each sentence connects smoothly to the next would help elevate your score in this criterion.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'enrolled', 'pursue', and 'convenience'. There are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'request about post pone' (should be 'request to postpone') and 'transfer this credits' (should be 'transfer these credits'). While these errors are noticeable, they do not prevent the reader from understanding your message. To reach a higher band, focus on using more precise collocations and ensuring correct word forms, such as using 'postponement' as a noun rather than 'post pone'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, which is good. However, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with verb forms and articles, such as 'i did enroll' (should be 'I enrolled'), 'in last semester' (should be 'next semester'), and 'If is there any other possibility' (should be 'If there is any other possibility'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with some missing capital letters for 'I'. While these errors are frequent, they do not impede overall communication. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and basic sentence construction will help improve your accuracy.
