Dear Sir or Madam,
I hope you are fine, I am writing this to share my problem regarding my enrollment in evening course. Initially, I want to tell you that I am a only bread earner of my house and due to the serious health issues of my mother I cannot be able to take your evening courses. In morning, I have to visit hospital for my mother. At evenings I have to perform some part time jobs so that I can save some money for my mother's hospital fee and for can run my house.
With this busy scedule I cannot be able to continue the course and grant some considerations from your side. I request you to enrolle my name to the next term instead. By this way I have some favourable spare time to tackle my personal issues without compermising my studies.
I am also looking forwed to your piece of advice and feel overwhelme if you can give me some suggestions obout my current situation and decision.
I am looking forwed to your consideration and waiting for your advice.
Your's faithfully,
Amna Shahid

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response covers all the bullet points effectively. The writer explains the situation clearly by mentioning her role as the sole breadwinner and her mother's serious health issues, which necessitate hospital visits and part-time work. She successfully states what she would like to do by requesting to transfer her enrollment to the next term, and she asks for advice regarding her current situation. The tone is appropriate for a formal letter to a course administrator. Although some ideas could be extended further for a higher band, all requirements of the prompt are satisfactorily met, demonstrating a clear and purposeful response that fulfills the task demands.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter maintains a coherent overall arrangement with a clear purpose established in the opening and reinforced in the conclusion. Paragraphing is used to separate the introduction, the main explanation, and the conclusion, although the body paragraph is quite dense and could benefit from being split into two distinct paragraphs for better readability. Cohesive devices are used, but some transitions are a bit mechanical or repetitive, such as the recurring use of 'for my mother' and 'looking forwed'. Referencing is generally clear, but the logical flow between sentences occasionally stumbles due to awkward phrasing and mechanical cohesion.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, attempting some less common collocations and phrases such as 'sole breadwinner' (implied by 'only bread earner') and 'part time jobs'. However, there are noticeable lexical and spelling inaccuracies throughout the text, such as 'scedule' instead of schedule, 'enrolle' instead of enroll, 'compermising' instead of compromising, and 'overwelme' instead of overwhelmed. Additionally, some phrasing is unnatural, such as 'grant some considerations' and 'by this way'. These errors do not impede communication, as the reader can easily follow the meaning, but they restrict the lexical score to a Band 5.5 or 6.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, incorporating conditional and dependent clauses such as 'so that I can save some money' and 'if you can give me some suggestions'. However, there are frequent grammatical errors and awkward structures, including 'I cannot be able to' (confusion between 'cannot' and 'am not able to'), 'At evenings' instead of 'In the evenings', and 'Your's faithfully' instead of 'Yours faithfully'. Punctuation is generally acceptable, but article usage is sometimes faulty (e.g., 'in evening course'). These errors occasionally cause slight hesitation for the reader, fitting the Band 5.5 profile well.
