Dear Sir or Madam,

My name is jay and I am recently enrolled in English speaking course. I just figured out I do not have enough time to pay attention on my study because my sister just gave birth to her son. I am so busy in taking care of my nephew. I have to spend time with them since my sister is a single mom.

In this situation I cannot continue the course because she really needs me. I am wondering if I can drop my course untill next semester? This course is really important for me, so I want to focus on my studies only.

I would like to request you please give me some advise what would be the best solution for my current situation. Would it be a good idea to take this course next term?
