Dear Sir,
I am writing this to request you for a break in my evening course until next term.
I would like to inform you that my name is Aakash and I recently joined the business course in your institute in evening batch. Unfortunately , my study schedule conflicts with my job as I am currently working in an IT company for my bread and butter. Moreover , I want to be a businessman in my career as a result I enrolled in this course and I will appreciate if you can allow me to continue the course in next term which is winter 2027.
However , I am also looking for your suggestion for my current situation to handle it in a better way . In addition to this , your advice can play a major role in fixing my problrm and I will be thankful to you .
Yours faithfully,
Aakash

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address all three requested points: you explain that your work schedule conflicts with the evening course, ask to continue next term, and request advice. The purpose is clear from the opening request and the reference to winter 2027 gives a specific proposed time. This meets the task well, though some details are less fully developed: for example, you do not explain what has changed at work or whether you are asking to defer, pause, or re-enrol. The reason that you want to become a businessman explains your motivation for studying, but does not add much to why you cannot attend now. Clarifying the arrangement you seek and giving a little more context would make the response more complete and precise.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter follows a generally sensible order: it states the request, gives background and a reason, then asks for advice before closing. Paragraphing also separates the main explanation from the advice request. However, the progression is sometimes mechanical, particularly with “Moreover,” “However,” and “In addition to this,” which do not always show a clear relationship between ideas. The second paragraph combines your course motivation, work conflict, and proposed next-term plan in one long sequence, making the central request less prominent. Use clearer paragraph focus and connect ideas by meaning—for example, explain the work conflict first, then state the specific study arrangement you want. This would make the letter easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough vocabulary to communicate the situation, including “study schedule conflicts with my job,” “business course,” and “suggestion.” There are also attempts at more formal expressions, such as “I am writing this to request” and “I will be thankful to you,” although some are unnatural or imprecise for a formal letter. “For my bread and butter” is an idiom that sounds informal here, while “fixing my problrm” contains a spelling error and is not an idiomatic collocation. These choices do not prevent the reader from understanding your message, but they limit naturalness and precision. Aim for straightforward formal phrases such as “to support myself” and “resolve my situation,” and check spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including the clause “as I am currently working in an IT company” and the conditional request “I will appreciate if you can allow me.” The main message remains understandable, and several sentences are structurally clear. Some grammatical and punctuation errors remain: “I will appreciate if” needs “I would appreciate it if,” and “continue the course in next term” needs an article before “next term.” There are also inconsistent spaces before commas and full stops, such as “Unfortunately ,” and “way .” These issues do not usually impede communication, but more careful control of conditional phrasing, articles, and punctuation would improve accuracy.
