Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

The letter addresses all three points: you explain that an evening shift at your new job prevents you from continuing, state that you want to enrol next term, and ask about both the decision and the deferral process. The purpose is clear and the details about financial stability and your healthcare career make the situation relevant. The request for advice is present, although “should this decision is good for me” is unclear, and the letter does not specify whether you are asking the course provider to defer your place or simply seeking guidance. To strengthen the response, make the requested action explicit and develop the advice request more clearly, for example by asking what options are available and whether your enrolment can be transferred to next term. The main ideas are relevant, but some are not fully explained.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The information follows a generally sensible order: you introduce the problem, explain the new work commitment, state your plan for next term, and finish by asking for advice. Paragraphing helps distinguish these stages, and linking phrases such as “Actually” and “Apart from this” show an attempt to connect ideas. However, some connections are awkward or mechanical, particularly “owing to it is challenging” and the sequence of questions in the final paragraph. The reader can follow the overall message, but the request would be easier to process if you separated the advice question from the question about deferring the course. Use clearer transitions and ensure each paragraph has one main purpose to make the progression more fluent.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant vocabulary for the situation, including “evening shift,” “financially,” “enroll,” “career,” and “defer,” so the main message is understandable. There is also an attempt to use more formal expressions such as “time and consideration.” However, noticeable spelling and word-choice errors reduce precision, including “challening,” “fiancially,” “adive,” and “respone.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “continue my job first” and “process of defer my course.” Choose more accurate collocations, for example “prioritise my job” and “the process for deferring my course.” Proofreading spelling and using standard course-administration vocabulary would make the letter more natural and precise.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The letter includes both simple statements and attempts at longer structures, such as “I am writing this letter to inform you that…” and “as this course is very essential to build my career.” However, the longer constructions are often faulty, and errors in sentence structure and verb forms sometimes make the request difficult to understand. For example, “due to which cannot continue” lacks a clear subject, while “should this decision is good for me” uses an incorrect question structure. There are also problems with articles, agreement, and punctuation, as in “a amazon worker” and the run-together final questions. Practise forming indirect questions and checking that each clause has a subject and a correctly formed verb.
