Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

The letter covers the main requirements: you explain that a new restaurant job and family commitments make it difficult to attend, state that you want to take the course next term, and ask how to transfer or withdraw and whether a fee applies. These details make your purpose clear and relevant. The request for advice is present, although it is framed mainly as a request for administrative help; you could ask more directly what the institute recommends you do. The reason for being unable to continue could also be clearer—for example, explain that the evening work conflicts with the course schedule. This gives the letter solid coverage, while some points remain less fully explained.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The information follows a sensible order: you introduce your circumstances, explain your preferred solution, and then ask about the process and fees. This gives the letter a coherent overall shape, and phrases such as “So” and “And also” help signal the next request. However, the opening paragraph is a long chain of ideas joined mainly with “and,” while the second paragraph also contains several requests in one extended sentence. This makes the progression less smooth and some links feel mechanical. Use separate paragraphs for the situation, your preferred arrangement, and your questions, and connect ideas with clearer references such as “Because of this” or “Could you advise me on the best option?”

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is sufficient to communicate the central message, using relevant terms such as “evening course,” “next term,” “withdraw,” and “fees.” However, the range is limited and several choices or spelling errors make the letter less natural, including “social work with family,” “extreamlly,” “thing of taking,” and “withdrawl.” “Social work” does not clearly express family commitments, and “I am thing of” is not an appropriate phrase for expressing a plan. More precise, conventional wording would improve clarity and formality. For example, describe your responsibilities as “family commitments,” and say that you are “considering postponing the course.” Proofreading spelling and choosing natural collocations would strengthen the message.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, and the reader can generally understand your circumstances and requests. Some grammatical errors remain, particularly in the long opening sentence: “i enrolled myself … and i also found a job … and i am …” joins several independent ideas without clear sentence boundaries. There are also errors in capitalization and sentence construction, such as “i” instead of “I” and “I am thing of taking.” The request “help me out about this how to withdraw” also needs a clearer grammatical structure, such as “help me understand how to withdraw.” Break up long sentences, check verb forms, and use standard capitalization and punctuation to improve accuracy.
