Student answer (Band 5.0)
I write this letter to express to appear some difficuties to attend extra classes at evening Schedule time because . I really want to like participate for this course for increse my study growth and also having some doubt are easily can clear on this course but somehow, evening time is not prefferable for study time because at evening time it's my excercise time so maintain healthy body is also my priority.
so, if can be possible can i attend or can i shift my extra classess time morning instead of evening because in morning time is very peacefull and accurate timing for study i always preffer for my exam preparation in early morning time because that time is very sharp and accurate mode. and i m very punctual for my study timig it's my first priority .
In addition, if morning time is suitable for this situation we can continue on same timing i can manage my gym schedule at morning . I appereciate you if timing whould be change to cosidering my situation.
Thank you for giving your precious time, i prayed for you're continued growth.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You explain that evening commitments make attendance difficult and show a clear preference for studying in the morning. However, the task asks you to take the course next term, whereas most of your letter asks to move the class to a morning time now. This means the main request does not match the situation in the prompt. You also do not clearly explain that you are too busy to continue, and the request for advice is missing: “if can be possible can i attend” asks for a timetable change rather than guidance about your options. To address the task more fully, state that you cannot continue this term, ask to defer your place until next term, and invite the course provider to advise you about the process.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter has a recognisable sequence: you explain your difficulty, describe a preferred study time, and close politely. Paragraph breaks help separate these points, and connectors such as “so” and “In addition” signal relationships between ideas. However, the progression is weakened because the central request changes from attending next term to switching to morning classes, and the final paragraph repeats the timing preference rather than advancing the request. Some links are also mechanical or unclear, as in “In addition, if morning time is suitable for this situation we can continue on same timing.” Organise the letter around one clear request, then use each paragraph for the situation, the action you want, and a request for advice.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some vocabulary relevant to the situation, including “course,” “exam preparation,” “punctual,” and “priority,” so the reader can identify your general concerns. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the message difficult to interpret. For example, “express to appear some difficulties” does not clearly convey that you are unable to continue, while “accurate timing” and “sharp and accurate mode” are unnatural descriptions of a study time. Spelling errors such as “difficuties,” “prefferable,” and “appereciate” also reduce clarity. Build a more precise set of phrases for deferring a course and explaining a schedule conflict, and check spelling before sending.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, for example with “because” and “if,” and you also use some simple statements to explain your preferences. However, many sentence patterns are faulty, and the reader has to work to understand the relationships between ideas. The opening, “I write this letter to express to appear some difficuties … because,” is incomplete and has an unclear structure. Other examples include “if can be possible can i attend” and “we can continue on same timing,” which lack necessary grammatical elements. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, particularly at sentence beginnings and in questions. Practise forming complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and use direct structures such as “I am unable to continue this term because…”
