Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address the main points: you explain that your regular subjects and upcoming assignments make it difficult to attend, indicate that you want to continue the module in a later semester, and ask the recipient for advice. These details keep the letter relevant and make your purpose understandable. However, the request to defer is not stated as a clear, specific action—for example, whether you can transfer your enrolment or must register again—and the advice request is broad. The plan to use your notes in your leisure time is relevant but does not explain how you hope to manage your studies or preserve your place on the course. Clarifying these points would make the response more complete and purposeful.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter follows a generally sensible order: it introduces the problem, gives reasons, describes a study plan, and closes by requesting a response. Paragraph breaks help distinguish these stages, and expressions such as “Moreover” and “All this” attempt to connect ideas. Some links are mechanical or unclear, however. “All this thing” does not clearly refer to the preceding reasons, while “which helps me to focus on studies” has an uncertain reference. The second paragraph also moves quickly from assignments to the effect on attendance. Use clearer transitions and make each paragraph develop one purpose—for instance, explain the workload, then state the precise arrangement you are requesting.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a reasonable range of vocabulary for the situation, including “hectic schedule,” “assignments,” “module,” and “semester,” and the reader can understand the central message. You also attempt less common expressions such as “plethora of experience,” but this is not a natural fit for a formal request; “considerable experience” would be more appropriate. Several word choices and collocations are inaccurate, including “behind from my class,” “attach with your module,” and “provide me a best decision.” Spelling and word-form errors such as “satuations” and “decesion” also reduce precision. Aim for natural phrases such as “falling behind in my classes,” “keep up with the course,” and “advise me on the best option.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

The response includes both simple statements and longer sentences, such as the sentence explaining that assignments are due soon and need to be completed within five days. This gives some variety, and the main meaning remains understandable. Some grammatical errors persist, particularly in sentence construction and articles: “I am writing this letter to explain the problems which i found to attend” would be clearer as “I am writing to explain why I am finding it difficult to attend.” In “my leisure time I will spend on those,” the word order is awkward; use “I will spend my leisure time reviewing them.” Check capitalisation of “I,” article use in “a best decision,” and punctuation around introductory phrases. More accurate control of these patterns would strengthen the letter.
