Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You explain the main reason you cannot continue: extra duties at work have increased your workload and left you tired and stressed. You also ask Nina for advice and show that continuing your studies matters to you. However, the response only partly fulfils the task because it does not clearly say that you want to defer the course until next term. The opening instead refers to “taking a nursing course next month,” which makes your intended plan unclear, and the request to “keep continue my study” does not specify when you hope to resume. State directly that you want to pause or withdraw now and re-enrol next term, then ask what steps or fees this would involve.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter has a recognisable structure: a greeting and purpose, an explanation of the work problem, and a closing request for advice. The sequence from increased workload to difficulty studying is generally easy to follow, and phrases such as “due to this” and “Moreover” help connect ideas. However, the opening sentence is difficult to follow because several ideas are crowded together, and the transition from explaining the problem to describing your preferred study arrangement is not clear. The paragraph about the course fee also repeats the concern about being unable to study without advancing the request. Use separate, focused paragraphs for the situation, your plan to resume next term, and the specific advice you need; make references such as “this situation” more precise.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of vocabulary for work and study, including “workload,” “career growth,” “concentration,” and “appreciate it.” These choices make the general situation understandable, and you attempt some less common expressions. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “getting a suggestion me a regarding,” “stress full,” “go in drain,” and “keep importance.” Spelling errors in “concenteration” also reduce accuracy. Aim for natural combinations and check word forms: for example, say that the workload “has increased,” that you feel “stressed,” and that your money and effort “would go to waste.” More precise language for deferring or resuming a course would also help express your plan clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple sentences and longer structures, including the explanation beginning “At my work place…” and the conditional sentence “If I am unable to study properly…”. This shows some range, and the main message can generally be understood. However, some sentence structures are faulty or incomplete, particularly “I'm writing this letter about getting a suggestion me a regarding a situation” and “you are very familiar with me how much keep importance this study…”. There are also errors in articles, agreement, and verb patterns, as in “on rest of employees” and “would you suggest me a valuable solution.” Break crowded sentences into clearer units and check the structure after verbs such as “suggest,” as well as articles and subject–verb agreement. This would make your meaning more consistently clear.
