In the modern era, smoking has escalated to peak which is very dangerous as it causes lots of diseases. I partially agrees with the statement that smoking cause serious illnesses and should be made illegal which is going to justified by throwing light on the whole scenario with the reasonable reason.

Embarking with the points, the prominent factor in giving my clearance to assigned statements as due to vital use of smoking people are getting ill as it ultimately effects the lungs because the stuff that it is made of toxic and the same time is not environmental friendly. No only it affects the individual but also the smoke is disturbing for other people who are standing nearby. Additionally, the quality of air is getting unfavourable as the consequences of which there is rise in global warning due to which there is change in weather from last decade.

On the top of it, they that if they are not able to take any decision related to there work they say that after smoking there minds are clear. Even it is considered as stress relief element.

In conclusion I personally believe that there are more disadvantages of smoking than advantage but it should not be considered to make it illegal rather there should be limitation on the smoking. Government should make some strategies to make sure that there is less production of smoking. Even this is responsibility of individuals as it effects there health as well.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing the health risks of smoking and the debate over its legality. You clearly state a position, arguing against a total ban in favor of limitations. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For instance, the claim that smoking contributes to global warming is not well-supported or logically linked to the core argument. While you address both sides of the issue, the arguments lack depth and specific examples. To improve, ensure that each point is fully explained with clear, logical reasoning rather than general statements. The conclusion is relevant, but the overall development remains at a basic level.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Additionally,' 'On the other hand,' and 'In conclusion' to signal transitions. However, some transitions are awkward or misused, such as 'Embarking with the points' and 'On the top of it,' which sound unnatural. Furthermore, the logical flow within paragraphs is occasionally disrupted by grammatical errors and imprecise phrasing. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider range of linking words more accurately and ensure that the progression of ideas within each paragraph is smooth and logical.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and variety required for a higher score. You rely on some repetitive or imprecise phrasing, such as 'stuff that it is made of' and 'giving my clearance to assigned statements.' There are also issues with word choice, such as 'global warning' instead of 'global warming' and 'unfavourable' in a context where 'polluted' or 'degraded' would be more appropriate. To improve, try to incorporate more topic-specific vocabulary related to public health and policy, and focus on using words in their correct collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('smoking cause serious illnesses,' 'it effects there health'), incorrect word forms ('I partially agrees'), and awkward sentence construction ('the stuff that it is made of toxic'). Punctuation is also inconsistent. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and ensuring that complex sentences are constructed accurately.
