Smoking is the most common issue in today's world. Several of people even adults also smoks. After that consistencey of smoking they got some serious illnesses. The main illness is Lungs cancer. I agree that it should be illegal and government should banned smoking.

First of all,Lungs cancer is increasing their rate by using too much smoks.People smoke like they did not know the consequences caused by smoking. Elite class community smoke like they drink water at their home. As well as adults and teenagers in their homes always follow what they see. They feel that it is a source of their joy. They had parties in their homes for smoking. Cancer caused serious illness as they bring their lives. For instance, there are not a experienced doctors for treating cancer patients. Recently my beloved friend died because of blood cancer. My grandfather died because of lungs cancer as he smoks a lot in a single day.

On the other hand, we should banned these problem creating things in our daily lifes. Government should taken an extra taxes who buy these kind of useless things. We should educate children and awareness them how to deal with these kind of illness or how to avoid yourself from smoking.

In conclusion, we have to do a workshop in which we should awareness those people who affected by smoking. And making them believed that it is harmful for their lifestyles. We can hire an experienced and skill-full doctors who treated them nicely.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position that smoking should be illegal. However, the development of ideas is limited and often repetitive. The arguments regarding health consequences and government intervention are present but lack depth and logical structure. Furthermore, the response falls short of the 250-word minimum requirement, which negatively impacts the overall task completion. To improve, you should expand on your arguments with more detailed explanations and ensure you meet the minimum word count to fully explore the topic.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the progression of ideas is often disjointed. While some linking words like 'First of all' and 'In conclusion' are used, they are sometimes applied mechanically or incorrectly. The internal structure of paragraphs is weak, with sentences often feeling like a list of points rather than a cohesive argument. Referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the phrase 'as they bring their lives'. Improving the use of cohesive devices and ensuring a smoother flow between sentences would significantly enhance the readability and logical progression of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is basic and often repetitive, such as the frequent use of 'smoking', 'illness', and 'homes'. There are several instances of awkward word choices and incorrect collocations, such as 'consistencey of smoking', 'increasing their rate by using too much smoks', and 'awareness them'. These errors sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow. To reach a higher band, you need to expand your range of vocabulary and focus on using words in their correct context, avoiding literal translations or informal phrasing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('Several of people... smoks', 'he smoks a lot'), tense inconsistencies, and incorrect sentence structures ('Government should taken an extra taxes'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing spaces after commas and periods. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic structures prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on mastering simple sentence construction and proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy is essential for improvement.
