Student answer (Band 5.5)
Smoking is dangerous to health and is the cause of many serious illenesses. The advice on banneing the smoking and sell of cigrate has been made here. According to me, this is a effective solution and would work perfectly. Thus, I agree with the statment for 100%.
There are various reasons to support this thought. Considering health first, smoking creates death-causing sickness. For Example, lung cancer, cough, and breathing problems. Not only the active smoker gets affected, passive smoker is more likely to get affected as well. Accroding to the research, the impact is always far more critical to the pepole are who are always around keeping kids and olders in fatal risk.
Second thing is young generation. They often think smoking make them look cool and they start smoking from very young age. This addiction reduces ability to manage and save money allowing them to spend more on smoking proudcts like Vaps and Cigarattes. Basically, it creates unmanageble financial conditions sometime unableing them to pay for their tuition.
Well, banning smoking items and making it illegal would create a significant impact on tobacco farmers. Farmers who are fully realied on the tobacco farming could face mental and financial stress. As soultion there should be some precaution steps for them as well. Such as, using the products for other usages or finding solutions to limit the consumption.
To conclude, I think smoking is the reason for current generation to be less productive and less focused as they always look for alternate options to work less and earn money to fulfill their daily dosage. The stated solution would encourage all.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the opening and conclusion: you fully agree that smoking should be banned. You address health risks, effects on young people, and the consequences for tobacco farmers, so the response covers the main issue and includes a relevant qualification. The health paragraph gives examples such as lung cancer and passive smoking, while the farming paragraph recognises a practical drawback and suggests support. However, some points are asserted rather than explained: the claims that smoking reduces young people’s ability to manage money and makes the current generation less productive need clearer reasoning or evidence. The proposed alternative uses for tobacco products are also vague. More precise development of these ideas would make the argument more convincing and complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs on health, young people and farmers, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “Considering health first,” “Second thing,” and “To conclude” help readers follow the main stages. However, some linking is mechanical, and the relationship between ideas is not always clear. For example, the sentence about young people spending money on smoking products moves quickly to tuition costs without explaining the connection. “The advice on banneing…” is also unclear as an opening transition, and the final paragraph introduces productivity without linking it closely to the earlier arguments. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each example explicitly to your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “passive smoker,” “tobacco farmers,” “financial stress,” and “consumption,” which helps communicate the subject. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation and spelling problems make parts of the response difficult to interpret. Examples include “death-causing sickness,” “smoking proudcts,” “unmanageble financial conditions,” and “daily dosage.” Some expressions, such as “look for alternate options to work less,” do not convey a clear or natural meaning in this context. Aim for accurate, conventional phrases and check spelling carefully. More precise vocabulary for describing health consequences, addiction and policy measures would help you express your ideas with greater clarity and flexibility.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt a mixture of simple and more complex sentences, including “Not only the active smoker gets affected, passive smoker is more likely to get affected as well” and a sentence beginning “Farmers who are fully realied…”. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence structure, articles, agreement and verb forms sometimes make the meaning unclear. For example, “smoking make them look cool” needs subject–verb agreement, while “the pepole are who are always around” has a faulty clause structure. The opening phrase “The advice on…” also does not form a clear grammatical sentence. Practise building accurate sentences with subordinate clauses, and check that each sentence has a clear subject and verb before adding more complex ideas.
