New neighbours have recently moved into the house/flat next door to where you live. You have examinations soon, but your neighbours play music late at night which is affecting your studies and sleep.

Dear neighbor,

I hope you are doing well. Firstly I would like to welcome you into this neighborhood. The reason I am writing this letter to you is discuss noise problems.

I am your neighbor and my unit number is 406. I would like to mention the building is old and the walls are not sound proof. Although you have moved recently, you have been settling into your apartment and after a long day it is understandable to listen music.

However, in two weeks I have my final exam, I have been trying to studies but it is hard to concentrate because of loud music.

I would appreciate it, if you could lower the sound or use headphones while listening to music.

It is crucial for me to have enough rest and because of noise issues I have not slept well in last few days. It has been affecting my studies and I could not afford that.

I hope you can try to understand my situation.
