Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0

You address all three points: the late-night music is identified as the problem, you explain its effects on sleep and exam preparation, and you ask the neighbours to reduce the volume. The request is clear and appropriately polite, especially in “I requect you play music at lower volume.” You also explain a consequence—feeling sleepy and having less energy to study—so the main ideas are supported rather than merely listed. To make the response more fully developed, specify when the music is disturbing you and suggest a practical arrangement, such as keeping it low after a particular hour. A clearer opening and closing would also make the purpose and requested action more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The letter follows a sensible overall order: greeting and purpose, description of the noise, its effects, and a request. This gives the reader a clear route through the main points, and phrases such as “as a consequence” help show cause and effect. However, the ideas are crowded into a few long blocks, and several links are repeated or awkwardly placed, including the repeated “because” and “as a result.” The opening sentence also joins two complete thoughts with only a comma, which interrupts the flow. Use separate paragraphs for the problem, its impact, and your request, and choose a smaller number of precise linking phrases to make the progression smoother.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough relevant vocabulary to communicate the situation, including “loud music,” “examinations,” “proper sleep,” and “lower volume.” The wording also conveys the effect on your studies through “energy and learning power.” However, the range is limited and several spelling errors or inaccurate word choices make parts difficult to understand, such as “lound musie,” “speaker bufer,” and “percente.” Some phrases are not natural in this context: “take proper sleep” and “learning power” would be clearer as “get enough sleep” and “ability to concentrate.” Aim to check spelling carefully and learn common collocations for noise, sleep, and studying; this will make the message more precise and fluent.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, for example by explaining that the noise affects sleep and then study performance. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty. In “I hope you are doing well, I am wrtting to inform to a issue,” two clauses are joined with a comma, and the verb pattern in “I requect you play” is incomplete. There are also recurring problems with articles, agreement, and verb forms, as in “I have a examinations” and “I look forward to heared you soon.” These errors sometimes make the reader pause. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then build longer ones using correct clause links and verb patterns.
