Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you state your position clearly, the arguments are underdeveloped and repetitive. For example, the point about using mobile apps to view animals is mentioned multiple times without being fully extended. Furthermore, the essay is incomplete, as the conclusion cuts off mid-sentence, preventing a full summary of your position. To improve, ensure you provide more detailed explanations for your arguments and reach the required length to allow for a comprehensive discussion of the topic.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay shows some attempt at paragraphing, but the logical progression is hindered by the incomplete nature of the text. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'To commence with' and 'To conclude', but they are often used incorrectly or in a mechanical way. Referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the phrase 'there are many benifits of its', where the pronoun 'its' does not clearly refer to a previous noun. The lack of a finished conclusion also disrupts the overall flow and structure of the argument.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. You rely on basic phrasing, such as 'increase day by day' and 'saw the zoo', which lacks the precision required for higher bands. There are also noticeable errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'benifits' and 'disadvantags'. The use of 'Every masses' is grammatically incorrect and demonstrates a lack of control over collocations. To improve, try to incorporate a wider range of topic-specific vocabulary related to wildlife conservation and technology, and focus on using words in their correct context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are issues with subject-verb agreement, such as 'technology is increase' and 'every people have no time'. Sentence structures are mostly simple, and attempts at more complex sentences often result in errors, such as 'the abundant reasons that's why technology is increase'. Punctuation is also inconsistent. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically ensuring that verbs are correctly conjugated and that articles are used appropriately before nouns.
