Student answer (Band 6.0)

The most common debate regarding the topic regarding whether we have to preserve animals in zoos or nature where they originally belongs. I completely Disagree with statement. My explanations are justified further in enusing parapraphs.

The foremost argument i would put forward is, best way to save endangered species is not other than zoos. By this i mean that, Zoos having potentials to keep species who about to be disappear by providing food in time, promote sleep and live their life without worring of any potenial danger. Consequently, it will help to manage their population compare to wildlife where they always in danger. Besides this, zoos helps to boost economy. government raising revenue from attracting people from all around the world, which help to future development inside the zoos as well as gaining reserved fund for species well-being. Furthermore, it also great souce of entertainment and education. We are frequently visit zoos because of relax our self with kith and kins. with fun, we gain lot of information. For example, from where species belongs to and how far they near to die and how we can save them.

I would not overlook the otherside, animals have also right to live. Animal not able to talk with us that does not mean we can keep them in zoos and use for other purposes than save. For example, In many circus, elephant and tainned monkey and many other spieces are being used for generating personal bank balance. Furthermore, in wildlife , they learn how to survive and live with their big family.

To Conclude, wildlife gives animals freedom of live . Although, it is ideal choice for endanged species to keep in zoos and live their best life which hard to do

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have addressed the prompt by taking a clear position against closing zoos. You provide relevant arguments regarding conservation, economic benefits, and education. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the point about 'economic benefits' is mentioned but not fully explained in terms of how this specifically aids animal welfare. Additionally, the counter-argument in the third paragraph is slightly contradictory to your main position, as it acknowledges animal rights but does not effectively reconcile this with your initial stance. To improve, ensure that each supporting point is fully expanded with clear, logical links to your main argument.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use some cohesive devices such as 'consequently,' 'besides this,' and 'furthermore.' However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly unnatural, such as 'not other than zoos' or 'in enusing parapraphs.' Furthermore, there are issues with referencing and sentence flow; for example, the transition between the second and third paragraphs is abrupt. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words more naturally and ensure that the progression of ideas between sentences is smoother.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and range required for a higher band. You use some basic phrasing, such as 'generating personal bank balance' and 'near to die,' which are not idiomatic. There are also several spelling errors (e.g., 'enusing,' 'parapraphs,' 'souce,' 'tainned,' 'spieces'). While your meaning is generally clear, the lack of sophisticated vocabulary and the presence of spelling mistakes limit your score. Try to incorporate more topic-specific collocations and ensure you proofread your work to catch simple spelling errors.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'zoos helps,' 'animals have also right'), missing articles, and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'where they always in danger'). Some sentences are difficult to parse, such as 'The most common debate regarding the topic regarding whether we have to preserve animals in zoos or nature where they originally belongs.' These errors occur frequently and occasionally cause the reader to pause, though they do not completely impede communication. Focus on basic sentence construction and subject-verb agreement.
