Closing the ZOO

In my own perspectives, I agree to not kept animal into the zoo.Their are some reason of why i agreeing with this statement.

Firstly, For all of animal should live freely not to in a cage so animal can act like natural animal. why, I`m saying this because those oraganism should live in own their habitan to make a balance. Almost of animal are contribute in wild and nature. All of them are have role in nature such a lion, tiger, elepant, bird ,snake etc. Lion is the best example for not treating or keeping them because lion is a king of the forest. lion should know to hunt prey. For example if lion are keeping zoo it lose his sense to hunting a prey because his feeding system in zoo. Birds is the most important of among of animals because birds know to planting seed accidentally that make a echo system balance.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

The response addresses the prompt minimally, as the student clearly states a position agreeing that zoos should be closed, but the ideas remain heavily under-developed and are restricted by the severe length issue. The task requires a minimum of 250 words, but this submission contains only 155 words, falling 95 words short. While the writer attempts to provide reasons regarding natural habitats and animal roles in the ecosystem, such as mentioning lions and birds, the points are presented in a repetitive and fragmented manner without sufficient extension or supporting examples from general knowledge.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

There is some basic organization apparent through the attempt to use transitional markers like "Firstly", but the text lacks an overall clear progression. Paragraphing is poorly handled, with the body text compressed into a single, overly dense block following the introduction, instead of separating distinct arguments. Cohesive devices are used mechanically and inaccurately, such as "Almost of animal are contribute", which disrupts the logical flow. Additionally, referencing is frequently unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the progression of ideas from one sentence to the next.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is limited and minimally adequate for expressing basic thoughts, featuring noticeable errors that occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. There are frequent word choice, collocation, and word form errors throughout the text, such as "kept animal into the zoo", "habitata", "oraganism", and "echo system balance". While the student attempts to use less common words like "organism" and "ecosystem", inaccurate spelling and inappropriate lexical combinations restrict the score, though communication of the core message remains just about achievable.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The grammatical range is very limited, relying heavily on simple sentence forms with frequent attempts at complex structures that turn out faulty. There are persistent, frequent errors in verb forms, tenses, subject-verb agreement, and articles, such as "I agree to not kept animal", "Their are some reason", and "if lion are keeping zoo it lose his sense". Punctuation and capitalization are also poorly controlled, marked by random spaces, missing apostrophes, and unusual symbols. These frequent errors cause noticeable difficulty for the reader throughout the response.
