Student answer (Band 5.0)

Nowadays, people'e are avoiding to keep animals in a zoo and this issue reaches to close it. i believe that zoo should be opened for creational purpose and also take care of the animals while others believe it should be closed.however, i firlmy believe that zoos plays a vital role to study the biodivesity.

on the one hand, zoos are place where the species of different animals are kept for recreational as well as to know the biodiversity of species.it provides the safe place for the animals where they can easily survive. for instance, when any recreational tours from the schools visited the zoo.it creates the environment for the students to know about different wild life advatages and, also to aware about their habit and habitat.this is the way to enhance the knowledge.

Additinally, this is way to make the survival of the animals easy and also provide the shelter to secure from danger of other species.

on the other hands, some people shows their consent to close it.it is difficult to understand it.because when the zoos closed then the species faced the endagered. forexample, people believe i may cause the problems for the environment and also for kids when they visit the zoo.some times animals grasped the kids from their shelter and injured them.however,it also create a trouble for the parents.

Futhermore, its resources are too much and can not ful fill it.

In conclusion, zoos should be organized for enjoyment and also provide the resources for it establisment.i agree to open it for because it is only source to gain knowledge about differnt animal species.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You give a clear overall view in the conclusion, stating that zoos should remain open, and you offer relevant reasons such as education, animal shelter, and protection from danger. The school-visit example helps illustrate the educational point. However, the position is not consistently clear in the introduction, where the wording about people avoiding zoos and the opposing view is difficult to follow. Several ideas are also limited or unclear: the claim that closing zoos would make species endangered needs explanation, while the concern about animals injuring children is mentioned but not answered. Develop each reason with a clearer explanation or example, and address the opposing argument more directly.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has an introduction, two body sections presenting different views, and a conclusion, so there is some organisation. Linking phrases such as “on the one hand,” “on the other hands,” and “in conclusion” signal the intended structure. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow: the discussion moves from recreation to safety and then to endangered species without clearly connecting these points. Some transitions are mechanical or inaccurate, and sentence boundaries are unclear in places, for example after “zoo” and “visited the zoo.” Use one main idea per paragraph, arrange supporting details in a logical order, and make references such as “it” and “this” clearly identify what they mean.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “biodiversity,” “species,” “habitat,” “shelter,” and “endangered,” and these choices show an effort to discuss more than basic ideas. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning unclear, such as “recreational purpose,” “the endagered,” and “ful fill it.” Spelling errors, including “biodivesity,” “Additinally,” and “Futhermore,” are also noticeable. Build accuracy by learning common topic phrases as complete units—for example, “educational value” and “protect animals from danger”—and check spelling and word forms during revision. This would make your ideas easier to understand.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt some longer sentences and use clauses with “when” and “because,” but control is inconsistent, and many sentences contain errors that make the reader work to understand the meaning. Examples include “zoos plays,” “some people shows,” and “it also create,” where subject–verb agreement is incorrect. Articles and sentence construction are also problematic in phrases such as “zoo should be opened” and “when any recreational tours from the schools visited the zoo.” Several sentences run together or are separated by full stops in awkward places. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with one subordinate clause, checking agreement, articles, and punctuation.
