Student answer (Band 5.0)
I totally agree to this point. Animals shoud not be kept in cage. They should be allowed freely in the forest where they want to go. They need to have a freedom on what they needed. However, if we kept in Zoo, they won't go for hunting, meaning that they will forgetting how to hunt food, water which is really necessary for survival. They will be missing their loved ones like cubs, etc .
People who are visting to Zoo, few of them will not treat them properly, they will started bullying, so they will get irritated.
Zoo care taker of the animal should treat them properly.
Zoo should be properly cleaned because of visitors who uses all plastic water bottle, papers, snacks waste paper everything will be in the ground which affects the animal hygenic. But if they live in forest, these hygenic issues will be prohibited.
Screaming, shouting, annoying sounds from the visitors also makes the animals irritated. This will not happen if they in forest.
Conclusion
Better not to have Zoo separately, instead of that we can go by safari ride inside the forest in the outer level and not disturbing the animals, which helps us to see who they are living happily when we compared in Zoo.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear from the opening: “I totally agree,” and you give relevant reasons, including loss of natural hunting behaviour, poor treatment by visitors, and noise and litter in zoos. The safari suggestion also offers a possible alternative. However, the response only partly develops these points: for example, the claim that animals will forget to hunt is not explained or supported with an example, and the point about litter is brief. The conclusion introduces the safari idea but does not fully draw together your reasons. The response is 210 words, below the required 250, so there is less space to develop your argument. Add explanation or a specific example to each main reason and expand the conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some organisation: you state your view first, present several reasons in separate paragraphs, and finish with a conclusion. This helps the reader identify your main position. However, the overall progression is not always clear, and some ideas are presented as short, disconnected statements. “Zoo care taker of the animal should treat them properly” interrupts the point about visitors without explaining how it relates. Linking phrases such as “However” and “But” are used, but the relationships between ideas are sometimes unclear or repetitive. The standalone heading “Conclusion” is unnecessary, and the final sentence is difficult to follow. Group related points into developed paragraphs and use clear transitions to show how each reason supports your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use a basic range of topic vocabulary, including “hunting,” “survival,” “visitors,” “forest,” and “safari,” which makes your main ideas understandable. There are also attempts at more specific expressions, such as “loved ones” and “outer level.” However, vocabulary is limited and some word choices or forms make the meaning unclear: “hygenic” is misspelled and repeated, while “Zoo care taker of the animal” and “snacks waste paper” are awkward expressions. Repetition of “irritated” also limits precision. Build a wider set of accurate terms for animal welfare and conservation, and check spelling and collocations. For instance, “animal welfare,” “natural habitat,” and “visitor disturbance” would express your ideas more precisely.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
Most sentences use simple structures, and the reader can generally understand your position and reasons. You attempt a longer sentence with “However, if we kept in Zoo…,” but the conditional and verb forms are not controlled, and the sentence becomes difficult to follow. Other examples include “They need to have a freedom on what they needed,” “they will started bullying,” and “This will not happen if they in forest.” These show recurring problems with articles, tense, agreement, and missing verbs. Sentence boundaries and punctuation also need attention, as in “their loved ones like cubs, etc .” Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add complex clauses using correct verb forms and articles.
