Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You do state a position—“Zoo should not be closed”—and give some relevant reasons, including that zoos attract families and that certain animals may be dangerous. However, the response only minimally addresses the central question of whether zoos are still needed. Several points are unclear or contradictory: you mention animals dying through poor care, then argue for keeping zoos, and the conclusion says both that zoos “should be closed” and “i dont agree this.” Examples such as the Lahore zoo and the lion incident are introduced but not explained enough to support your view. Make your position consistent, select two or three relevant reasons, and explain how each supports your answer.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5

There is an attempt to move from general comments about zoos to reasons for keeping them, with linking phrases such as “On the other hand,” “However,” and “Finally.” These signals show an awareness of how ideas can be connected. However, the response is presented as one continuous paragraph, and the sequence of points is difficult to follow: animal welfare, family enjoyment, pandas, and danger from lions appear without clear grouping or progression. Some links also create confusing relationships, especially the contrast between the claim that animals die in zoos and the later support for zoos. Use separate paragraphs for your position, each main reason, and the conclusion, and connect ideas according to their actual relationship.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “animals,” “families,” “danger,” and “solution,” and attempt phrases such as “permanent solution.” This gives the reader a basic sense of the subject. However, the vocabulary is repetitive and often imprecise, which sometimes makes the intended meaning hard to understand. For example, “Pandas are moving in some other countries” and “lion has replaced to other animals” do not clearly express the point, while “felling” appears where you mean “feeling.” There are also spelling and word-form problems such as “Graphas” and “afriad.” Build a more accurate range for discussing animal welfare, conservation, education, and visitor experience, and check spelling and collocations carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences using connectors, for example, “Finally, there are several other reasons…” This shows some effort to vary sentence structure. However, grammatical errors are frequent and sometimes obscure meaning. Subject–verb agreement is often incorrect, as in “many people thinks” and “many animals is placed”; verb forms are also faulty in “families are enjoyed” and “people was saw.” Articles and plurals need attention, as in “a animal” and “a children.” Sentence boundaries and punctuation are inconsistent, with several ideas joined by commas or capitalised after commas. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then build longer sentences while checking agreement, tense, articles, and punctuation.
