Student answer (Band 5.5)
zoological parks are intense debate in this time period.most of people demads to shut down, zoes are place where people visit to see the endangered animals,
according to the increasing absense of species of animals , it need to protect them within time .every animal have diffrent need of nature , so it importannt to give them lfe how they needed,in the zoes we cant make the real life experiance for the animals.i am disagree with that the zoes shold be closed completly.
the primary reason why zoes remain important is their contribbution to preservation of endangered species.due to rapid haqbitat destruction, climate change many species faace imediate extinction in the wild.zoes act as a safe sanctuaries and apply managed breeding programs to protect genetic diversity..for example, species like giant panada, california condor were saved due to brreding programs in zoes.
furthermore zoes plays vital role for education, which digital media or documentries cannot fully did.children can experiance the real animals and learn about the life and genetics .however they understand the importance of animals in the enviorment.
in conclusion the zoes sholud not be closed if they are protecting the animals according to the programs which helps to save wild animals, and give the animals a better life .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You give a clear position—“I am disagree with that the zoes should be closed completely”—and support it with relevant reasons: conservation and education. The examples of the giant panda and California condor help make the conservation point concrete, and the conclusion restates your view. However, some ideas are less fully developed than others. The claim that zoos provide education is mentioned, but you could explain more specifically what visitors learn and how this supports animal protection. Your opening also raises the concern that zoos cannot recreate animals’ natural lives, but you do not address this counterargument. The response is 41 words below the required minimum, so there is limited space to develop these points and support your position fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs on conservation and education, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “furthermore” and “in conclusion” help signal the direction of the argument. The main ideas are generally arranged logically, with conservation preceding education. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical or unclear. The opening moves quickly from public debate to endangered animals and the difficulty of recreating natural conditions, without clearly connecting these points to your position. Some references, such as “they” in the education paragraph, could be clearer. Use complete, well-separated sentences and develop each paragraph with a clear topic sentence, explanation, and example to make the progression easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “endangered species,” “habitat destruction,” “climate change,” “genetic diversity,” and “breeding programs.” These terms help communicate the conservation argument, and “safe sanctuaries” shows an attempt to use more specific language. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable throughout, including “demads,” “absense,” “contribbution,” and “documentries.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “give them life how they needed” and “zoes act as a safe sanctuaries.” These errors do not prevent the reader from understanding the main points, but they reduce precision and fluency. Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations for discussing animal welfare and conservation.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, for example, giving a reason with “due to rapid habitat destruction, climate change” and adding an example with “for example.” The overall meaning is usually understandable. However, some grammatical errors affect clarity and control. Examples include “I am disagree” instead of “I disagree,” “every animal have” instead of “every animal has,” and “zoes plays” instead of “zoos play.” Sentence boundaries and punctuation also need attention: several ideas run together, while the opening begins with a lowercase word and has missing spaces after full stops. Practise subject–verb agreement, verb forms, and sentence punctuation, then proofread each sentence to ensure it is complete and correctly joined.
