Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this contemporary era, some people contend that we do not need to leave the animals in zoos anymore, and it should be closed. Different people have different mindsets. In my opinion, I partly disagree with the statement because I think this decision should be made with more logical reasons. The reasons in following paragraphs would shed light on my personal perspective along with it and will render it to a logical conclusion.
To commence with, there are myriad of reasons opposing thi statement. The first and foremost one is that animal park is a safe place for many animals because many animals are suffering from many issues in the outer place such as gettiing abuse by humans for their personsal use and getting treated badly from the society. Moreover, there are many wildlife animals who are facing extinction in many countries either due to the natural disaster or evolutin, as a result, the zoological gardens are playing a safe role in their life as they are providing good lifestyle with better care and healthcare facility.
On contrast, there are certain animals in the wildlife sanctuary who are living in a cage, they are not happy with the habitat of this place, they wanted to go back their forest and enjoy their life, also, they want to enjoy their freedon but the management of zoo is keeping them in the cages to make more profit. Last but not least, some variety of animals are seeing getting tutured in this captivity area, if these living beings are not follwing their orders.
Hammering the last nail, I believe some animals should be keep in the zoo and some should leave in the outer space. I oppose the notion of closing the zoo, because it act as a safe place for numerous animals and it helping them from getting extinct.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is identifiable: you partly disagree with closing zoos, arguing that they can protect animals, while acknowledging that captivity can restrict freedom and involve mistreatment. These points are relevant and address both sides of the question. However, the discussion is unevenly developed. The protection and extinction argument is explained with some detail, but the opposing point about animals wanting to return to the wild is asserted rather than supported with a specific example or explanation. Your conclusion also shifts to saying some animals should remain in zoos and others should be released, without clarifying how this distinction would work. Develop each reason with a concrete example and make your final position more precise.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two contrasting body paragraphs and a conclusion. Linking phrases such as “To commence with” and “On contrast” help signal the change in viewpoint, and the reader can follow the main argument. However, some transitions sound mechanical, and cohesion is occasionally unclear. For example, “The reasons in following paragraphs would shed light on my personal perspective along with it” is difficult to follow, while “Hammering the last nail” is an awkward signal for the conclusion. The second body paragraph also combines freedom, profit and cruelty without clearly showing how these points connect. Use simpler, more natural transitions and organise each paragraph around one main reason, supported in a clear sequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “extinction,” “zoological gardens,” “captivity” and “habitat,” which helps communicate the subject. Some less common expressions are used inaccurately or unnaturally, however, and spelling errors sometimes distract the reader. Examples include “outer place,” “safe role,” “freedon” and “tutured”; “animal park” and “wildlife sanctuary” are also used where “zoo” would be more precise. Phrases such as “myriad of reasons” and “Hammering the last nail” feel forced in this context. Aim for accurate, natural collocations rather than ornate wording, and proofread spelling. More precise terms for animal welfare, conservation and captivity would make your argument clearer and more convincing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use both simple and complex sentence forms, including a reason clause beginning “because” and a result structure with “as a result,” so there is some variety. Meaning is generally recoverable, but some grammatical errors and punctuation problems remain. For example, “it should be closed” does not clearly agree with the plural “zoos,” and “they wanted to go back their forest” has an incorrect verb form and a missing preposition. In “some animals should be keep,” the verb form is incorrect; “it act” and “it helping” also show problems with agreement and verb construction. Commas and spaces are inconsistent, particularly around sentence boundaries. Review subject–verb agreement, verb forms and sentence punctuation, then check each sentence for a complete, clear structure.
