IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The table gives information about the average hours spent on the Internet by European people of different age groups.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The supplied table illustrates the data, regarding the minimum hours spend by Europeans mem and women across different age groups on the World Wide Web.

To begin with age group 11 to 15 years old, it has been observed that males spent more time approx. 8 hours on online platform as compared to females 6 hours only, Moreover, population from 16 to 20 years shown maximum interest in using internet among all age groups almost 19 hours by men and 18 hours by women. Additionally, people who were born in 2000 to 2004 shown less interest male spent 7 hours and females 5 hours.

In contrast, least interested are group is 26 to 51+age only 4 to 3hours they are spending.

Overall, observed that from 16 to 51+ age inhabitants, as their age is increasing their time duration spent on online platforms are decreasing. Moreover, maximum time invested by 16–20-year age group persons, whereas least by 51+.
