IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The table gives information about the average hours spent on the Internet by European people of different age groups.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The table depicts the average hours spent on the internet by European individual of different age groups.

Overall, aged 16_20 both males and females had spent more time on the internet,while above 51 aged people's had less time spent on the internet as compared to others aged groups individuals .

11_ 15 years male had spent 8 hours on the internet. Aged 16_20 had double time who's spent hours on the internet, whereas 21 _ 25 year males had spent 7 hours on the internet . Aged 26_50 had almost similar males spent hours on the internet.above 51 year had lowest peoples recorded which spent our time on the internet to around 2 hours .

By comparison, females aged 11_15 stood at 6 hours who's spent our time on the internet, while 16_ 20 year women time spent almost double to around 18 hours. Aged 21_25 females had 5 hours spent on the internet . From 26_50 aged women had almost similar time consume on the internet. Above 51 year females had spent less time on internet .
