IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The table gives information about the average hours spent on the Internet by European people of different age groups.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

From the data provided above, we can see that the teenagers are consuming more internet than others, if we look specifically on age 16-20 we can see that there are average 19 hours spent by males and average 18 hours spent by female on internet. And the lowest are of age 51+ in which the male spends average 2 hours and female spent average 3 hours. If we looke more age groups then in 11-15 age groups the male spent average 8 hours and female spent 6 hours on internet, in 21-25 age groups the male and female spent average 7 and 5 hours respectively. In 26-30 the male and female spent average 4 and 4 hours respectively and in 31-50 the male and female spent average 2 and 3 hours respectively.

Therefore, the above is about the average hours spent on the internet by European people of different age groups.
