THE TABLES PROVIDES INFORMATION ABOUT THE AVERAGE NUMBER OF HOURS SPENT ON THE INTERNET BY EUROPEAN PEOPLE OF DIFFERENT AGE GROUPS.

CLEARLY, AGED OF 16-20 SPENT AROUND 20 HOURS ON INTERNET BUT AS COMPARED 51 PLUS SPENT LESSTHAN EVERY AGE GROUP. IN MOST AGE GROUP MALE SPENT SLIGHTLY MORE TIMR THAN FEMALE ALTHOUGH THIS PATTERND REVERSED AFTER AGE 31.

ON THE OTHER HAND AGE GROUP OF 26-50 ALL GENDER MOSTLY USED INTERNET FOR 4 HOURS ONLY WHICH IS SO COMENDIBLE. MOREOVER 11-15 AGE GROUP MALE USE INTERNET FOR 8 HOURS AND FEMALES USDE FOR 6 HOURS.

THE AMOUNT OF TIME IS DECREASING AMONG THE OLDER PEOPLE WHICH IS LIKE AGE GROUP OF 51+ MALE USED INTERNET JUST FOR 2 HOURS AND FEMALES USED FOR 3 HOURS WHICH WE CAN SE CLEARLY. HOWEVER FROM THE AGED AFTER 31 FEMALES SPENT MORE TIME ON INTERNET THAN MALES.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 150 words, which negatively impacts the task achievement score. While the response attempts to summarize the main features, the data interpretation is inconsistent and contains inaccuracies. For instance, the claim that the 26-50 age group used the internet for '4 hours only' is not clearly supported by the provided data, and the description of trends is somewhat confusing. The response lacks a clear overview of the main trends, which is essential for a Band 6 or higher. To improve, ensure all data points are accurately transcribed and provide a clear, concise summary of the most significant trends at the beginning of the report.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is mechanical and sometimes inappropriate, such as the use of 'Clearly' and 'On the other hand' to start paragraphs without a logical connection to the previous point. The progression of ideas is somewhat disjointed, making it difficult to follow the comparison between age groups and genders. Improving the use of linking words like 'whereas', 'in contrast', or 'similarly' would help create a smoother flow between sentences and paragraphs.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and repetitive. There are several instances of word-choice errors and informal phrasing, such as 'so comendible' (commendable) and 'aged of 16-20'. The spelling is also inconsistent, with errors like 'PATTERND', 'TIMR', and 'USDE'. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use a wider range of vocabulary to describe trends, such as 'fluctuated', 'remained stable', or 'a significant decline', rather than relying on basic verbs like 'used' or 'spent'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. There are issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'THE TABLES PROVIDES'), incorrect preposition usage, and tense inconsistencies (e.g., 'MALE USE INTERNET' vs 'FEMALES USDE'). The sentence structures are mostly simple, with very few attempts at complex sentences. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring correct verb tenses, and proofreading for common errors like missing articles or incorrect pluralization. Increasing the variety of sentence structures will also help demonstrate a better command of English grammar.
