IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The table gives information about the average hours spent on the Internet by European people of different age groups.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The table provides the data that the average time of European people spent on the internet between the various aged groups.

Overall it is clear from the chart is that young adults spent maximum time on internet especially the male ones whereas older elderly spent the least.

Firstly youth spent most of the time on their devices especially the younger adults whereas early teenager from the age of 11 to 15 years spent 6 to 8 hours by female and male respectively. However the most busiest generation of the age group of 21 to 25 spent about 7 hours by male and 5 hours by females.

On the other hand late adulthood and the elderly spent relatively less time nevertheless 21to 25 age groups male spent about 7 hours while female spent 5 hours . In addition elderly and late elderlies spent about 3 to 4 hours.
