IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The table gives information about the average hours spent on the Internet by European people of different age groups.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The table illustrates mean hours spent on the internet by European citizen of various age groups.

Overall,16-21 age group citizens are mostly seen by the internet in table, because in the teen years we get addicted to things.

In 11-15 age group citizens were 8 in Male and 6 Female, In 16-20 age group citizens were 19 in Male and 18 Female, which is the highest in the table as given below. Because, teen years we get attracted to things. So, unable get rid by the mobile, laptop and tv like things.

In 21-25 age groups citizens were 7 in Male and 5 Female, In 26-30b age group citizens were 4 in Male and 4 in Female, In 31-50 age group citizens were 3 in Male and 4 in female, In 51+ age group citizens were 2 in Male and 3 in Female. Because, after being adults years the responsibilities were increased and they think about the future plans to see their life in the good ways.
