Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response attempts to summarize the data but struggles with accuracy and clarity. You identified some trends, but the interpretation of the data is often confusing or factually inconsistent with the provided table. For instance, you mention '8% of male' and '6% of female' for teenagers, but the table likely shows different values, and your description of the 51+ age group is contradictory. To improve, ensure you carefully transcribe the data points and focus on the most significant trends rather than listing every minor detail. The overview is present but lacks a clear, accurate summary of the main features, which is essential for a higher band score.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the logical progression of ideas is frequently hindered by awkward phrasing and unclear referencing. While you use some cohesive devices like 'In addition' and 'Moreover', they are sometimes used mechanically or to connect ideas that do not flow logically. The referencing is occasionally confusing, making it difficult for the reader to follow the comparison between age groups. To improve, focus on using transition words that accurately reflect the relationship between your points and ensure that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive, with frequent errors in word choice and spelling that occasionally impede communication. Examples include 'th percentage', 'fraom', 'leat intrest', and 'regarads'. You rely on basic vocabulary and struggle to use more precise terms to describe data trends, such as 'recorded the top position' or 'accounted the same number'. To improve, focus on mastering the spelling of common words and expanding your range of reporting verbs and nouns, such as 'fluctuated', 'remained stable', or 'a significant proportion'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that affect the clarity of the message. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement ('male prefered less using of interent'), article usage ('the percentage'), and sentence structure ('the share of both group had arounf identical users'). While you attempt some complex sentences, they are often marred by errors, such as 'the male prefered less using of interent compare to female'. To improve, focus on basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like missing articles and incorrect verb forms before attempting more complex structures.
