IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The table gives information about the average hours spent on the Internet by European people of different age groups.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The below table compares, screen time on internet by the citizen of Europe among different age groups.

Overall, it can be clearly seen that young people between 16-20 of age consume maximum amount of internet, while the senior elderly people (more than 51 of age) used internet at the least. Screen time of male is more than female.

The screen time of males and female at 11-15 age is more than 5 hours, 16-20 years of young people were at the highest among all the age groups which is around 19 and 18 hours of both male and female.

After it reached at 16 to 20 age of people the average hours spent by individuals, it started reducing. 21 to 25 years old mature people spent 7 and 5 hours ( male and female respectively) which also declined further among 26-30 years old individuals. At last, the consumption of internet was the lowest among which is less than 4 hours between male and female.
