This table illustrates the average number of hours spent on the internet by males and females of the European region on the basis of their age in years.
Overall, European people ranging in age bracket of 16 to 20 years spend most of their hours surfing the internet following the people in the age bracket of 11 to 15 years then as their age increases starting from 21 years their time spent on internet starts to decline at a diminishing rate resulting in lesser and lesser hours as the age increases.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response covers all parts of the task and provides a clear overview of the main trends. You successfully identified the peak age groups and the general decline in internet usage as age increases. However, the report could be improved by being more selective with the data. For instance, listing every single age bracket in the overview makes the sentence structure overly complex and slightly repetitive. To reach a higher band, focus on grouping the data more effectively and highlighting the most significant contrasts rather than describing every data point sequentially.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is logically organized into paragraphs, with a clear introduction, overview, and body paragraphs. You use some cohesive devices, such as 'Overall' and 'After the age of', to guide the reader. However, the flow is occasionally hindered by run-on sentences and slightly mechanical transitions. For example, the second paragraph is one very long sentence that makes it difficult to follow the progression of ideas. Using more varied linking words and breaking down long, complex sentences into smaller, clearer ones would improve the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'illustrates', 'decline', 'diminishing rate', and 'dominate'. There are some minor inaccuracies in word choice, such as 'lesser and lesser hours' (should be 'fewer and fewer') and 'both gender's' (should be 'both genders''). While the vocabulary is sufficient to convey the meaning clearly, it lacks the sophistication and precision required for higher bands. Incorporating more precise collocations and avoiding repetitive phrasing would enhance your lexical score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The response contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly regarding pluralization and article usage (e.g., 'the European region', 'a average'). Additionally, some sentences are poorly punctuated, leading to run-on structures that affect readability. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and ensure that complex sentences are punctuated correctly to avoid confusion. Increasing the variety of error-free complex structures will help you move into the higher band range.
