IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The table gives information about the average hours spent on the Internet by European people of different age groups.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The rendered table demonstrate the information about the average hours utilized on the network by European individuals of numerous age groups.

Overall, maximum hours allocated on internet by 16-20 age group of masses, whereas minimum time utilized by 51+ age group.

In details, 8 hours spent by male on internet in 11-15 age group of individuals, whereas 6 hours utilized by female. In 16-20 age group, 19 and 18 hours allocated by male and female on internet respectively. Male devoted 7 hours to using network which declined by 2 hours in female in age group of 21-25.

Interestingly, exactly same hours spent by men and women on internet in 26-30 age group, which was 4. In case of 31-50 age group of masses, male allocated 3 hours on internet, while female utilized 1 hour more as compare to male. In terms of 51+ age group of people, 2 and 3 hours utilized by male and female on internet respectively.
