The table gives information about the average hours spent on the Internet by European people of different age groups.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The table illustrates the knowledge of spending time on social media by people of European within the given frame of age. Overall, young males gave more time to their smartphones as compared to females and youngsters donated significant period of their day to the internet in contrast to the senior citizens either men or women.
To began with the people of age 11 to 15, the boys spended 8 hours while girls accounted for 6 hours per day. However, the number of hours escalated to a considerable extent like 19 to 18 hours among the young adults of age 16 to 20. Moreover, adults ranging from 21 to 25 years old accounted for 7 to 5 hours daily for both males and females respectively. Additionally, mature individuals having age between 26 to 30 years took more less time for use of internet while on the other hand, uncles have just 3 hours of usage of their cell phones and aunties sacrificed 4 hours of their day in utilizing it.
In contrast to all above categories, the hours fell dramatically in older generation of above 51 for just 2 and 3 hours and considered as lowest usage group.
