IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The table gives information about the average hours spent on the Internet by European people of different age groups.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The table presents data (in number) about the average hours European citizens has spent on the internet of different age groups.

Overall , most adults between 16 and 20 year old has the highest consumed hours on the internet , While the grown adults over 51 year old has the lowest time spent on the internet . Whereas the rest of ages has ideal consumption .

Around 16 to 20 age has 19 hours consumed by Male and 18 by Female which is high compared to other ages . From 11 to 15 utilize the internet about 8 hours per Male and 6 per Female . In addition , the people who ranged more than 51 year spent few hours compared to younger residents approximately 2 hour to 3 between man and women . however the rest of people in range among 21 to 25 consume 7 to 5 hour between both genders . Whereas there is 8 hours divided between male and female consumption .

Finally the people who aged from 31 to 50 score average from 3 to 4 hours spent on the internet by Male and Female
