IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The table gives information about the average hours spent on the Internet by European people of different age groups.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The provided table illustrates the information about how the different age groups of European male and female spent their time on the internet.

To initiate with the age between 16-20, in which male and female contribute the highest hours among the chart at least 19 and 18 hours, accordingly. Smallest age group of 11-15 devide 8 hours for male and 6 hours for female, who are spending their time on the internet.

Conversely, European men group of 51+ devoted to internet about 2 hours and the same age group of female about 3 hours on internet. While male and female of age 26-30 balanced at 4 hours time spending on the internet. Younger male and female group spent 7 and 5 hours but the group 31-50 contributes only 3 and 4 hours, respectively.

Overall, the group that devoted to internet for long term is 16 to 20. And the shortest time period on internet vision spending is older age group of more than 51 years.
