The table gives information about the average hours spent on the Internet by European people of different age groups.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The table reveals the statistics of time expenditure on online platforms by inhabitants of Europe. Citizens belong to various age groups. It can be clearly seen that there is a close competition among the given facts,whereas the trends reflect an evident fluctutation across the sexes.
Overall, teenagers dominate the table as they consume online stuff the most resulting in sheer usage of hours. On the other hand, visibe decrease is seen among elder citizens who are spending less time on the internet.
To begin with, a male youngster of about 11 to 15 years spends around 8 hours a day on computer furthermore a female of same age spends 6 hours. This figure reaches at an absolute height 19 and 18 hours for man and woman respectively who are almost 16 to 20 years old.
Moving on to further details, inverse relation is seen between age groups and spent hours. Grownups who are in their fifties spend around 3 to 4 hours barely. Mature male who is 51 plus spends 2 hours and same age female spends 3 hours on on the Internet.
