IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The table gives information about the average hours spent on the Internet by European people of different age groups.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The table provide information regarding the average time spent on internet by Europeans of different age groups.

Overview, data of 6 different age groups is given in the table while giving the average time spent on internet by males and females of each age group.

Males in the age group of 11-15 years spent more hours on internet that is 8 hours while female spent 6. Again males of the age group 16-20 spent 19 hours that is greater than of females which is 18 hous additionally both males and females of this age group spent more time on internet than any other age groups.

Whereas, individuals of age group 51+ have least amount of time that is 2 hours for males and 3 for females. Average time of 26-30 year age group is same that is 4 for both gender. Male and female of age group 21-25 have 7 and 5 hours of average time on internet respectively. Age group of 31-50 years have 3 and 4 hours of average time for males and females.
