The table gives information about the average hours spent on the Internet by European people of different age groups.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The provided table illustrates the data about European citizens who dedicated their time on the internet in terms of age variation.
Overall, it can be seen that male spent large hours on the internet as compared to the women. It can also be noticed that elderly male and women were less attracted toward internet.
Male aged 11 to 15 year-old, dedicated 8 hours to the internet which was lower than male aged 16 to 20 year-old who spent 19 hours, making it the highest category. Male and women aged 21 to 25 recorded 7 hours and 5 hours which were higher than 26 to 30 year-old male and female which spent 4 hours. 51 year-old male accounted for only 2 hours.
Regarding the female, aged 16 to 20 most spent their time on the internet recorded 18 hours which was higher than women aged 31 to 50 year-old which spent 4 hours. Elderly women aged 51 were less interested in the internet and spent only 3 hours.
