IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The table gives information about the average hours spent on the Internet by European people of different age groups.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

To starts things off from the ages of 11-15, it can be seen that theres has been a moderate amount of screentime by both males and females. 8 hours for male and 6 for female. As we move on to the age group of 16-20, a significant rise in the number of screentime can be seen compared to the previous age group. This specific age group can be seen with the most amount of screentimes with 19hours for males and by 1 hour less for females. Moving on from this age group to 21-15 years, another major drop in the number of screentimes can be seen. It is said that males of that age group have about 7hours of screentime leaving the females off by 2 hours less. For ages 26-30, there is slight changes in screentime hours for both genders. The male and female of this age both share the same number which is 4 hours. As we continue to age, for ages 31-50, there is barely any change compared to the previous age group. Males can be seen to have 3 hours and females as the same as the old age group, 4 hours. As we move to the final age group in the table given which is 51+ years, another minor decrease in the number of hours can be seen with males having 2 hours and females 3 hours.
