IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The table gives information about the average hours spent on the Internet by European people of different age groups.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The glance of table reveals the information about the hours spent on using internet anong different age group of people in Europe.

Overall, we can observe that the people are further sub divided on the basis of gender.

Firstly, the highest group of males and females who spent 19 and 18 hours respectively are teenagers group of age 16-20. Secondly, the another group who spent nearly similar time on using internet are 11-15 and 21-25 years of people in which the first group spent 8 and 6 hours and another group spent 7 and 5 of male and female respectively.

Adding more, the lowest age group of men and women who spent hardly 2 and 3 hours respectively are 51+ age individuals. Furthermore, the age group of adults 26-30 male and female spent 4 hours on using internet. The lagrest age group of people which is 31-50 years old men and women spent 3 and 4 hours.
