IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The table gives information about the average hours spent on the Internet by European people of different age groups.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The table provides data about the minimum hours spent on the Internet by European people of various age stages.

Overall, the teenager around16-20 age people was spent more hours on the Internet than the other age groups. The other noticeable thing is that elder people like 51+ age gropus also spent hours on the Internet.

Male of the age between 11-15 spent much time on the Internet as the ratio of female. However, female also come near at the period of 16-20 just slightly difference. But, then propotion of both men and women decreased where men are 7 and women are only 5.

At the stage of 26-30 age, both gender have have same ation on the usage of Internet. Paradoxically, at the age of 31-50 the proportion of men slightly declined as compare to the women. However, at the stage of 51+ oppose the ratio of male and female to group of 31-50 age section.
