The table gives information about the average hours spent on the Internet by European people of different age groups.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The table provides information about the average hours spent on the Internet by european individuals of different age groups.

Overall, male residents ranging from age group 16 to 20 are the highest among all the age groups using internet for average 19 hours. Meanwhile, male residents from age group 51 plus are the one spending least amount of their time on internet for only 2 hours.

It is evident that, female residents from age group 16 to 20 are the highest among all the age group of female resident to spent 18 hours. Although, female individuals from age group above 51 are only using internet 3 hours. It is noteable that, both male and female residents in range of age group 26-30 are equal which is spending 4 hours average on internet.

It is clear that, male residents of young age groups are spending more hours on internet than female residents. On the other hand, female residents of elderly age groups are spending more hours on internet than male residents.
