Student answer (Band 4.5)
European peoples are one of the busy nation but now a days peoples are using internet and wastes time in scrolling on social media lets talk about the 11 to 15 years or males and femals that are on internet they spent the average hours on the internet but they are too young for the internet now lets take a look on the age of 16 to 20 they use extra internet and in my opinio these are the teenagers and they should take advantage of the mobile phones and laptops and internet by researching in their desired field of work and fied of study but they are much time in scrolling and involing into extra kind of activity as we can see the peoples from 21 to 25 ages males are using more internet at a day as compared to the females that is good and peoples from the age 26 to 30 are also having good screentime also we can see in chart 31 to 50 aged peoples are not using internet as much females use for the remedies and other makeup tutorials and etc while mens are usng it for the work while 51 peoples are using bit of it

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
The response responds to the task only minimally and tangentially. While the writer attempts to mention some figures from the table, such as the data for 16 to 20 year olds and 21 to 25 year olds, the overall summary lacks a clear overview and relies heavily on personal opinions and unsupported generalisations rather than objective data reporting. For instance, claiming that 11 to 15 year olds 'are too young for the internet' and speculating on why females use the internet for 'remedies and other makeup tutorials' demonstrates a misinterpretation of the academic nature of the task. To move up, the writer must maintain an objective tone, avoid personal commentary, and accurately select and report the main trends and comparisons from the visual data without introducing outside assumptions.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
Information and ideas are not arranged coherently in this response. The text is written as one long, continuous run-on sentence without any paragraph breaks, which makes it extremely difficult to follow a logical progression of thought. Transitional markers and cohesive devices are largely absent or misused, leading to a confusing flow where ideas blend into one another without clear separation. For example, moving from the 11 to 15 age group directly into the 16 to 20 group happens via conversational filler like 'now lets take a look'. To improve, the writer needs to divide the essay into logical paragraphs, such as an introduction, overview, and body paragraphs, while using appropriate cohesive devices to connect ideas smoothly.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, employing conversational phrases like 'screentime' and informal phrasing such as 'wastes time in scrolling on social media' and 'extra kind of activity'. There are noticeable lexical inadequacies and word-choice errors, such as 'fied' instead of 'field' and 'mens' instead of 'men'. The range of vocabulary is limited to simple descriptions, and attempts at less common words are mostly absent. To achieve a higher band, the writer must expand their lexical repertoire to include more precise, task-appropriate terminology related to data reporting, such as 'proportion', 'fluctuate', or 'substantially', while eliminating spelling errors and colloquial language.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The grammar demonstrates a very limited range of structures, consisting predominantly of poorly controlled, overly long simple sentences linked together with coordinating conjunctions and run-on clauses. Errors are frequent and severely strain comprehension. There are persistent issues with subject-verb agreement, such as 'European peoples are' and 'peoples from the age 26 to 30 are also having', as well as missing punctuation throughout the entire text. Complex structures are either absent or faulty. To progress, the student must learn to break ideas into grammatically sound sentences, control basic verb forms and plurals, use correct prepositions, and apply proper punctuation, particularly periods to separate distinct sentences.
