Student answer (Band 5.5)
Everyone has their own preferences. Some people may accept their condition as it is and go on with life doing unsatisfactory job and managing in less or no money. while other people do the complete opposite and try to improve their situations.
There are people with such a mindset that they will do whatever type of job they are given even if they dont like the environment or even if the job is not upto their expectation. Some of those are financially challenged and have no other option in front of them. They completely ignore their mental health condition and work on grinding for their bread and butter. But as the time goes by they still dont change or move for the better future. they are not willing to take any risks.
on the other hand there are people who would not settle for less and will always keep on improving their job status for their own and families welfare and future. such people are seen to be more risk taking and more succesful because they would avail even a single opportunity given to them even if its a little better than the previous one. Life always favors the braves and risk takers.
In my opnion the second type people are better than the first ones. As of me i would not consider doing what i dont like even if i am financially struggling because for me mental peace holds more importance than the money. i will grind myself seeking every opportunity i get and making full use of it.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views and make your preference for trying to improve one’s circumstances clear, especially in the final paragraph. The discussion of people who accept difficult conditions includes a relevant reason—financial pressure and fear of risk—while the opposing view is linked to career and family welfare. However, these points are mostly asserted rather than explained or supported with a specific example. The claim that “Life always favors the braves and risk takers” is broad and does not show when taking risks may be beneficial or harmful. Your own position is clear, but it would be stronger if you acknowledged practical limits and developed one example to illustrate how someone could improve a bad situation.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a generally coherent sequence: it introduces the two views, discusses each in turn, and ends with your opinion. Paragraphing helps distinguish these stages, and phrases such as “on the other hand” signal a change in viewpoint. Some links are mechanical or unclear, however. The opening uses “while” to connect two complete ideas, and the transition from the general discussion to “In my opinion” is abrupt. Within paragraphs, several claims are placed one after another without showing how they relate—for example, the statements about risk-taking, success, and opportunity. Use clearer sentence boundaries and add links that explain cause, contrast, or consequence, rather than relying mainly on basic transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including phrases such as “financially challenged,” “mental health,” “risk taking,” and “families welfare.” There are also attempts at more expressive language, such as “bread and butter,” though this is informal for an academic essay. Word choice and spelling errors are noticeable: “succesful,” “opnion,” “braves,” and “upto” reduce accuracy, while “grinding for their bread and butter” and “move for the better future” are not natural in this context. Some wording is repetitive, particularly “people” and “job.” Build precision by choosing formal collocations and checking spelling and word forms before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, and the overall meaning is usually understandable. However, some sentence structures and punctuation need more control. The opening has a fragment-like construction after “life,” followed by “while other people,” and “In my opnion the second type people” is missing a grammatical link before “people.” Capitalisation after full stops is inconsistent, as in “while” and “they” beginning sentences. There are also issues with articles and sentence construction in phrases such as “doing unsatisfactory job” and “even if its a little better.” Practise forming complete sentences, using articles consistently, and checking punctuation and apostrophes; this will make your ideas easier to follow.
