Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some indivisuals belive that it is best to accept a bad situation like unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. Other people says that it is better to try and improve such situation. I will be discuss both of this views in my opinion.
The people who accept a bad situation and did not want to improve their status is consider as a weak people in our socity because they did not have courage to improve their situation. The people who had no marraige, no kids can servive in the shortage of money because he is only one person. But the people who had marragie and also have some kids cannot servive in shortage of money because without money how will be you able to feed your kids. For example my uncle did not do any struggle to find some good job. He is jobless and did not have money to bring some good food for their childrens.
The people who thinks that it is better to try hard and improve such situation are giving a good message for the people beacuse for sucsses you will be need to do some struggle beacuse without struggle there is no sucsses.
A real man is that who stood up from bad phase and did not give up. For example my brother had a very bad job and now he became a ceo of its own business because he did alot of struggle for that.
Overall, the conclusion of the essay is that for sucsess you will need to do hard work never stay in a bad time or a bad job for life improve youself in your life do struggle for sucsess, it would not be give you in a plate.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both views and give a clear preference for trying to improve difficult circumstances, especially in the final paragraph. The examples about your uncle and brother are relevant and help illustrate the contrast. However, the discussion is only partly developed: the first view is presented mainly as weakness, rather than explaining why someone might reasonably accept a situation, such as limited opportunities or family responsibilities. The second view is also supported mostly by a general claim that success requires struggle. The opening says you will discuss both views, but your own position is not made clear until the conclusion. Develop the reasons behind each view and state your opinion directly in the introduction.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic paragraph structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. Examples are placed near the ideas they support, and phrases such as “For example” help signal them. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and the essay relies on repeated patterns such as “The people who…” and repeated references to struggle and success. The relationship between accepting a situation and being “weak” is asserted rather than logically explained. The conclusion repeats the main message but does not neatly synthesise the two sides. Use clearer topic sentences, connect each example explicitly to its point, and vary linking and reference phrases to make the argument easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “shortage of money,” “jobless,” “struggle,” and “improve their situation,” so the main ideas can generally be understood. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “struggle” and “success.” Frequent spelling errors, including “indivisuals,” “sucsess,” and “socity,” make the writing less clear and reduce accuracy. Some expressions are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “bring some good food for their childrens” and “it would not be give you in a plate.” Build a wider set of accurate phrases for discussing financial hardship, employment, and perseverance, and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some longer sentences and use basic structures to compare the views and give examples. However, the range is limited, and complex attempts often contain errors that make the reader pause. For example, “Other people says” has a subject–verb agreement error, while “I will be discuss both of this views” has problems with the verb form and demonstrative. Tense and agreement are also inconsistent in “The people who accept … did not want” and “The people who thinks.” Articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries need attention as well. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with clauses using “because” or “although”; proofread each sentence for subject–verb agreement and verb form.
