Student answer (Band 6.5)
Few individuals think that it is good to accept bad situations such as unsatisfactory jobs or shortage of money while others believe that it is better to make an effort and improve such situations.
In my opinion, life is name of ups and downs. We need to learn how to handle such situations. If some citizens think that it it best to accept bad situations then they are right. In this world anyone can encounter many difficulties in their lives such as irrelevant jobs and shortage of money. In my perspective, we need to learn to improve ourselves if some people think we should accept our bad situations then we should also know how to make an effort and improve our skills to make our jobs satisfactory. If those individuals understand that these bad situations can't hold them back then they will try harder and improve their skills to gain their dream jobs.
At this time many people in this world sit back and sad because they think they can't accomplish anything however that's not true they need to think and try their best to gain what they want in life. Everyone has aim that they want to proceed but if they are unsuccessful in any way that doesn't mean they can't achieve their goals.
In addition, I believe that other individuals are also true that if we fail in any way that doesn't mean we can't do anything but it means try again and correct your mistakes. Anyone has hardships they have to face so they nee to learn how to face them.
In my view if we are experienced in one thing but we enjoy to do another thing then absolutely choose the second one because if we love to do somethings and enjoy them then with passage of time we will be expert however if we choose the former one in which we are expert but never enjoy doing it then the outcomes will be in negative feedback. So, it is better to accept bad situation but with trying we can also improve them. After all, hardship is the key to success.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth. For instance, the argument about 'hardships' is mentioned in multiple paragraphs without providing concrete examples or a clear logical progression. The position is stated but remains somewhat vague, as the conclusion attempts to reconcile the two views in a way that feels slightly contradictory rather than synthesised. To reach a higher band, you should provide specific, real-world examples to support your points rather than relying on general philosophical statements.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical flow between them is often disjointed. While some cohesive devices are used (e.g., 'In addition', 'In my view'), they are sometimes used mechanically or inappropriately. The transition between the idea of accepting a situation and the idea of improving it is not always smooth, making the reader work harder to follow your train of thought. Additionally, some sentences are run-on or lack clear internal connections, which affects the overall progression of the argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on basic phrasing such as 'bad situations', 'good', and 'try their best'. There are also some awkward collocations, such as 'life is name of ups and downs' and 'outcomes will be in negative feedback'. To improve, focus on using more academic collocations and precise terminology related to career development and personal resilience rather than repeating simple, informal descriptors.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include missing articles ('shortage of money'), subject-verb agreement errors ('everyone has aim'), and punctuation mistakes. For example, 'If some citizens think that it it best' contains a typo, and several sentences lack necessary commas to separate clauses. While the meaning is generally understandable, the frequency of these errors prevents the writing from reaching a higher level of accuracy.
