Student answer (Band 6.0)
In our society we can find people with different ideas and ambitions. some people wants to chase their dream and some give up due to obstacles in their life. I strongly believe, everyone should try and improve his situations.
People who accepts the worse situations like an unsatisfactory job or lack of money lives worst life destroying their dreams. they feel demotivated and lacks ability to sustain in the society. We know those doesn't believe on themselves can't achieve good in their life. we have to let go the comfort zone in order to step out from the box. waiting to get the job better or money would come itself is the foolish thoughts many make.
once we refuse to accept the bad situation in the work and improve the condition, we win the battle of life. we will be the one deciding for our own life living the life we want to live. It will lead through hardships and tough situations but we can handle all the difficulties. Many people who has achieved great things has faced these difficulties and got passed through it. I have got a friend who did great in his life and everyone praises about his success but if he hadn't struggled with the bad situation during his job. he would't have made it today. He kept focusing to improve his abilities without clinging to others thoughts
I conclude hear that we should not stay in bad conditions and let anyone walk all over. We should do the things that would help us to improve our life.We will find many people who will pull us back from the way of success and there are few people who will help through crisis. We need to clearly see the true colours of the people beside us.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both views and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention that accepting bad situations leads to a 'worst life,' the arguments could be more thoroughly extended with more specific examples or deeper analysis. The example of your friend is a good start, but it lacks detail regarding how exactly he improved his situation. To reach a higher band, ensure that each paragraph provides a more robust explanation of the 'why' and 'how' behind your arguments, rather than relying on general statements.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. However, the use of cohesive devices is quite limited and sometimes mechanical. Phrases like 'In our society' and 'I conclude hear' (here) are used, but there is a lack of sophisticated linking words to connect sentences and ideas smoothly. Additionally, some sentences feel disjointed, such as the transition between the discussion of the friend and the concluding paragraph. Improving the variety of transition signals (e.g., 'consequently,' 'furthermore,' 'in contrast') would significantly enhance the flow of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on basic descriptors like 'bad,' 'good,' and 'worst.' There are also some noticeable errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'lacks ability to sustain in the society' and 'waiting to get the job better.' To improve, try to incorporate more academic collocations and precise terminology related to career development and personal growth. Expanding your vocabulary will help you express your ideas with more nuance and impact.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, particularly with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'some people wants,' 'those doesn't believe,' 'people who has achieved'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with several run-on sentences and missing commas. While you attempt some complex structures, they are often marred by these errors, which can occasionally impede the reader's understanding. Focusing on basic accuracy—specifically ensuring that subjects and verbs agree and that sentences are correctly punctuated—will help you achieve a higher score. Try to proofread your work specifically for these common errors.
